The CBU would like to congratulate the first graduate of the CBU Forestry and Environmental Engineering programme Mr. Mahesh Thapaliya. Mahesh started studying at the CBU in 2008 and is citizen of Nepal. In the future he plans to work for a while to gain more experience and then continue his studies towards a PhD. He is currently working at MTT Agrifood Research Finland, Jokioinen.
The title of his Master's thesis is "Structure and growth analysis of reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea) on mires". You can read the abstract of his thesis by clicking here.
